We are a family business. Literally.

It's me, my mom, my aunties, my dad, and my cousins. Every fabric is chosen together. Every design is argued over together, lovingly, loudly, the way only families do. And every detail that makes it onto a Madessa piece has been touched by someone who genuinely cares.

Our aunties hand-stitch every detail, like the little lemons on our lemon cardigan, made one by one. Our dad carries every heavy box without being asked, and explains every financial decision to me slowly, then again, then once more. My mom travelled with me, stayed in hotel rooms with me, and talked me through every moment of doubt. Madessa wouldn't exist without her.

We work with a small, trusted manufacturer who didn't just make our pieces, they listened, they taught us, and they were patient while we were still figuring it all out. We learned so much in that room.
